Facial acting- Recorded

I believe it was a wise decision to choose Boqian Lou as my reference for facial expressions since he has much livelier expressions than I do.

After observing his facial expressions, I sketched out the key frames.

Following the advice of my teacher, I made some modifications to the key frames and completed the final animation. However, I always felt that there was something strange about a certain part of the animation, but I couldn’t pinpoint the problem. After receiving feedback from Christina, I realized that I had not been paying enough attention to timing. I learned that it is important to give the character time to think and react to the environment. This is why my previous animation seemed off. After correcting this issue, the animation became much smoother, more logical, and more sensible.

In the second round of modifications, I changed the ending animation. The original ending animation was confusing, leaving the audience unsure if the character had left or stayed in place. Therefore, I made the character’s final actions more precise.
